It's pretty pointless to argue which is better. Every High School Football head knows Texas is king in that regard but I wouldn't mind seeing Brooklyn's two best teams matchup with an "average" team from Texas. And don't sleep on New Jersey football who is arguably considerd the "Texas" of high school football on the East Coast.
I would disagree. Don’t get me wrong, New Jersey produces the best football players in the tri-state. I wouldn’t call NJ the Texas of the East Coast. Personally I think Pennsylvania is better. I’ve played Pop Warner up to college in Connecticut and since moving to Texas there’s nothing that can compare. The way the players are built, their speed, and athletic ability is just at a different level of play. While New Jersey football players are inside because there’s 6 inches of snow on the field these kids down here in Texas are playing in a Texas state wide 7 on 7 football tournament.
I can't speak on Pennsylvania high school football with me never covering it. But in this present time, New Jersey gets the hype here in the Tri-State area. But as I said in my prior statement, you wont catch me saying the East Coast or the Midwesnt is up to par with Texas High School Football. I probably wouldn't be able to handle it as much fun as I would have with it.
I can remember during Mike Quicks high school football show teams from South Jersey area were pretty good. If NJ had the talent similar to Texas, Rutgers would be in the BCS championship picture with the Longhorns. Oh I forgot TCU too. Ohio football I like. There are plenty of ballers that come out of that state, if you want to talk about Midwest. Just to compare the North to TX I have to say I’ve seen more people show up at a high school game in Texas than most colleges in the Midwest and East.
I changed the name to “Texas football vs Up North football” Who’s better!!!!
You're Trippin... No Stadium in the Country seats like the Big House... The Midwest does know how to rep but not like Friday nights in texas. Anf Forget Ohio State!!! They're wac!!
I didn't say every college. I said most of them. I sure Texas packs more fans than every Division 2 or 3 school in Ohio. I'm sure even more than Ohio University or Miami of Ohio if you wanted to name a few D-1 teams.
Michigan... Michigan State... Central Michigan... Western Michigan... Eastern... ?? Ohio aint got NOTHIN on Michigan. The Punkeyes better enjoy this time while it lasts lol!!
As a coach in New England and a former teammate of D, I can say without a doubt that the talent, athelesism, and pure football talent of southern school is far superior to those in the North. I have a pretty concreate theory as to why this is and i will elaborate tomorrow.
Go Texas Football
